Hong Tuyen has 19 years of architectural experience and is the Executive Director at RSP Vietnam. With a Bachelor of Architecture from Hanoi Architecture University (2005) and a Master of Business Administration from the French-Vietnamese Center for Management (CFVG) (2012), Tuyen has been instrumental in leading the team since joining RSP.

She has extensive experience in both domestic and international projects. Some of her notable and sustainable projects include Mulberry Lane, Tower 4CT1 & 4CT2, the Proposed Master Plan for Parkcity, Ha Long Star in Ha Long City for Limitless, the Master Plan for Tan Hoang Mai, Hanoi Aqua Center, Mixed-use development at E9 Pham Hung Street, and Go Mall in Thai Nguyen and Thai Binh.

Tuyen has had the honor of participating in two award-winning projects: Mulberry Lane, which received the National Architecture Award and Green Architecture Award in 2014, and Garrya, awarded the 2024 Asian’s Best Hospitality Architecture Design.

Tuyen’s work focuses on the efficient use of buildings, meeting green and sustainable design criteria, and bringing unique, creative solutions by learning from other RSP branches to projects in Vietnam. Under her care, she has built a dedicated and strong team under our Hanoi office, with a firm belief that collective strength is key to the company’s success. Constantly striving to achieve goals with hard work, rhythm, efficiency, and passion, she truly believes in adding value to life for the communities and society. For her, architecture is the quintessence of combining science, engineering, and art to create designs of distinctive value that impress and bring outstanding brands to Clients.

Yeap Yoon Thong has more than 35 years of experience in various architectural projects. His diversified portfolio covers residential, education, sports and recreation, hospitality, industrial, offices and retail projects. Some of his major works include BCA Academic Tower, JCube, AEI for Tampines Mall, Lot One Shoppers’ Mall and the refurbishment of National Archives of Singapore. He also has experience in due diligence exercises for buildings requiring statutory and technical assessments. Yoon Thong graduated from Malaysia Institute of Architects (Honourable Mention), and earned a Certificate (Interior Design) from LCE School of Arts and Design in Singapore. He is also a certified Green Mark Manager and Universal Design Assessor.

Lim Hui Ying

Director, Architect

Lim Hui Ying is a Director and Registered Architect with over 15 years of professional experience, with a portfolio spanning residential, transportation, civic, industrial and pharmaceutical developments. Her notable projects include Luxus Hills, the Sentosa Intra-Island Cableway Stations, Mandai Wildlife West Arrival Node, and a range of industrial and biomedical developments within Tuas Biomedical Park such as WuXi. Through these projects, she has developed extensive experience in delivering complex developments that balance technical requirements, stakeholder needs and user experience.

Hui Ying is passionate about creating sustainable, inclusive and people-centred environments. As a Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP) and certified Universal Design Assessor, she believes successful architecture should balance functionality, sustainability and accessibility while responding meaningfully to the needs of users and the wider community.

With a collaborative and solution-oriented approach to project delivery, Hui Ying combines strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of regulatory processes and stakeholder management. She focuses on clear coordination, proactive problem-solving and thoughtful decision-making to ensure projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining design quality and project objectives.

Recognised for her leadership and professional excellence, Hui Ying was named one of Singapore Business Review’s Most Outstanding Architecture Professionals Under 40 in 2023 and was nominated for the Singapore Institute of Architects’ Young Architects Award in 2024. She holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts (Architecture) (Honours) from the National University of Singapore.

Khoo Teik Rong

Director, Architect

Khoo Teik Rong is a Director (Architectural) with experience leading projects across Singapore, China, and Cambodia. His approach to design is grounded in rigorous craft, creative collaboration, and a genuine curiosity about place—he is drawn to the work that unfolds between people before anything is built.

Having trained and practiced across different cultural and professional contexts, he has developed a conviction that good architecture depends as much on listening and understanding as it does on technical skill or formal invention. His notable projects include Singapore’s *SCAPE, Westgate, and the H&M Singapore Flagship Store, along with the Jinan Dareway Software Campus and a transit-oriented development in Hangzhou.

Alongside practice, Teik Rong serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. He values the exchange with academia as a space for reflection that practice alone seldom affords, contributing to the development of budding architects.

He holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and RMIT University. His work has been recognized through the Perspective 40 Under 40 Awards (2024) and Singapore Business Review’s Most Outstanding Architecture Professionals Under 40 (2022).

Ong Junlin

Director, Architect

Ong Junlin is a Director (Architectural) and Registered Architect with over 17 years of experience across residential, institutional and large-scale developments. Her notable projects include One Pearl Bank, the tallest residential development in the Outram–Chinatown district, and Valour Primary School, one of Singapore’s first high-rise primary schools constructed using Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC). She has also been involved in award-winning competition work, including the Geylang Serai Cultural Precinct Design Competition, where her team achieved 3rd prize.

Junlin believes architecture has the power to bring cities alive and create meaningful environments for people. With a strong foundation in BIM and digital delivery tools, she combines design sensitivity with technical precision to deliver well-coordinated and buildable outcomes.

She is motivated by the broader impact of architecture on urban life and remains passionate about contributing to projects that shape communities. Her experience spans both local and international practices, strengthening her ability to navigate diverse design contexts and project complexities.

She holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and is a Specialist Diploma holder in BIM from BCA Academy.

Quck Zhong Yi

Director, Architect

Zhong Yi is a Director (Architectural) and Registered Architect with over 15 years of experience spanning urban design, architecture, interiors, policy and large-scale public realm projects. His notable works include the urban design of Jurong Gateway, Jurong Lake District, and the future Paya Lebar Airbase precinct, alongside award-winning architectural works such as Ramp House and Envelope House, as well as interior projects including the restaurant Tempt. He has also contributed to public policy work on migrant worker housing guidelines and event design for the National Day Parade.

Zhong Yi’s design philosophy is grounded in the belief that design at all scales influences human relationships and how people experience cities. His work reflects a consistent focus on creating meaningful, contextually responsive environments that bridge policy, architecture and lived experience.

He is currently a Partner at Asolidplan and an Adjunct Lecturer at LASALLE College of the Arts. Previously, he has held roles at Formwerkz Architects, the Urban Redevelopment Authority, and the Defence Science & Technology Agency.

Recognised for his design excellence, he has received multiple accolades including the URA 20 Under 45 (2025), Singapore Institute of Architects Design Awards (2021, 2016), SG Good Design Award (2020), and the Taipei International Design Award (2019). He holds a Master of Architecture from École Spéciale d’Architecture, Paris.

Chee Kai is a BCA Certified Green Mark Manager and a Universal Design Assessor. He received a Diploma in Architectural Technology from Singapore Polytechnic and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management) with 1st Class Honours from RMIT University in Australia. He also has a Specialist Diploma with Merit award in Building Information Modeling from BCA Academy.

Chum Tun Jang

Chum Tun Jang is a Project Director with twenty-seven years of experience in architecture. Notable projects among his wide portfolio include the Damansara City in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Amara Sanctuary Resort Hotel in Singapore’s Sentosa Island and the Eco Sun Master Plan in Penang, Malaysia.

In his work, Tun Jang considers three principles important in his work: firstly, to create simplicity and clarity in design and function, secondly, to create timeless forms that are aesthetically pleasing, climatically responsive and harmonious with nature and site context, and thirdly, to craft memorable spatial and visual experiences. Together, these philosophies guide his practice to create new value and enhances the value of existing architecture.

To achieve this, he focuses on setting and completing deadlines efficiently to optimise resources. Being accountable and transparent allows him to forge long-term partnerships based on trust and credibility.

In 1989, he earned a diploma in Architectural Technology at Singapore Polytechnic, before earning a Bachelor of Arts (Architectural Studies) from NUS in 1993 and then a Bachelor of Architecture (Honours) in 1989. He is a Registered Architect (2002, Board of Architect).

Karen Trinio

With nearly two decades of experience, Karen Trinio brings an exceptional combination of financial expertise, operational strategy, and people-first leadership to her role as Director of Operations at RSP. She is the steady hand guiding the day-to-day rhythm of the Dubai studio, ensuring every detail from staffing and finance to IT systems and office culture, works in harmony to support the studio’s creative ambitions.

Karen’s journey with RSP began in 2009, at the height of the global recession. Today, she is a cornerstone of the Dubai office, one of its longest-serving and most trusted leaders, whose influence extends across every facet of the studio’s operations. Her leadership style is calm, compassionate, and thoughtful. She brings clarity and structure to complex operations, always balances efficiency with empathy. Her ability to streamline processes, manage resources wisely, and anticipate operational challenges has helped shape a studio that is not only agile and collaborative but also resilient.

Karen is especially respected for the culture she has helped foster, a workplace that feels inclusive, thoughtful, and empowering. She champions systems that allow people to thrive, and her decisions are always guided by the question: what’s best for the team? Under her leadership, the Dubai studio has grown into one of RSP’s most diverse and dynamic offices, with a team of 100 employees consisting 24 nationalities and 51% women, many of whom are in leadership roles. Karen is a vocal champion of building a quality workforce where everyone has the space to contribute, lead, and thrive.

Though her work often happens behind the scenes, Karen’s impact is seen and felt daily. She is the person everyone counts on, steady in a crisis, generous with her time, and unwavering in her support. Her legacy at RSP is one of trust, transformation, and heart-led leadership. Jaison Joe

As a Director at RSP, Jaison Joe manages and oversees projects to ensure their completion follows the established quality standards and schedules, while closely coordinating with the Client and Project Team. He has a strong command of managing the design team and construction site work. Jaison carries a wealth of experience in the fields of hotels, towers, residential and institutional developments. His leadership in these projects has earned him recognition for delivering complex developments on time and within budget, while consistently exceeding client expectations.

As an Architect, his skills range from preparing concept designs to development, project management, and project delivery throughout the Middle East. Throughout his career, Jaison has honed his expertise in incorporating innovative design solutions and cutting-edge technologies into his projects, ensuring functionality and aesthetic appeal are never compromised while delivering high-quality results. Jaison has delivered many mixed-use and high-rise residential / office, large-scale hotels, retail, and administration buildings. He possesses robust design, documentation, and presentation skills, complemented by extensive knowledge in construction and detailing. In addition, he has a deep understanding of local regulations and construction codes, which enables him to navigate complex approval processes with ease.

His responsibilities include running projects, coordinating teams, and consultants, and serving as the primary liaison with clients. Jaison is known for his collaborative approach, maintaining strong communication between all stakeholders to foster a team-oriented environment that drives project success.

Aleksandra Popivoda

She has led the successful delivery of complex, multidisciplinary developments spanning hospitality, retail, mixed-use, and cultural sectors; always with a focus on precision, performance, and client satisfaction.

Rula’s career reflects a deep understanding of every stage of the project lifecycle; from concept design and planning through execution, delivery, and commissioning. She provides strong technical leadership and has proven expertise in optimizing resources across multiple projects, ensuring effective allocation to meet objectives and deliver consistent results. Her ability to manage large, cross-functional teams, coordinate design processes, and secure regulatory and client approvals has been central to her success on major regional projects.

A skilled strategist, Rula is adept at identifying and mitigating risks such as cost overruns, schedule delays, and scope changes, ensuring projects remain on track and within agreed parameters. Her strength in developing detailed project plans, managing budgets, and analysing variances underpins her methodical and results-driven approach.

Before joining RSP, Rula directed landmark developments including Tilal Mall for Tilal LLC in UAE, The Rig Project for OPDC (PIF) in KSA, and City Tower One for H&H in UAE. Beyond her technical expertise, Rula is recognised for her calm authority and collaborative leadership. Her portfolio spans the Middle East, Australasia, and North America, featuring award winning projects across diverse sectors including hospitality, mixed-use, education, retail, civic, and transport. Each demonstrates her ability to balance creativity, sustainability, and technical precision to deliver design excellence at every scale.  

Rama brings clients lasting value from the earliest briefing stages through to project handover, ensuring each design vision is realized with purpose, precision, and profitability.

With more than 15 years of international experience across architecture, design and large-scale master planning, Joan is one of the key forces shaping RSP’s master planning division alongside Director Prabhanjan Kambadur. Recognised for her ability to combine visionary thinking with strategic delivery, she leads a multidisciplinary team of urban designers, master planners, architects, and technical professionals across transformative projects that redefine how people experience cities and communities.

Her design approach is rooted in placemaking and human experience, creating destinations that are deeply immersive. With experience spanning both consultancy and developer-led environments, Joan brings a comprehensive understanding of the entire development journey, from early visioning and concept creation through to design leadership and implementation.

With Joan’s help, RSP’s master planning team has achieved significant international recognition, won multiple industry awards and secured a shortlist position at the 2025 World Architecture Festival, placing the studio among some of the world’s leading design practices. Their work is recognised for its bold thinking, experiential storytelling, and ability to create destinations with enduring value.

Over the years, Joan has led and contributed to several landmark developments across the region, including Haven, Aldar’s pioneering master-planned community in Dubai; The Wilds Master Plan; Fay Gardens Master Plan; Palm Jebel Ali Master Plan; the Karl Lagerfeld Villas Master Plan in Meydan; and the Armani Hotel & Branded Residences in Diriyah Gate.

Raneem Qaddoura

Raneem Qaddoura, a talented design architect, joined RSP in 2018 to showcase her artistic creativity and knowledge of architectural design. Her remarkable talent spans every facet of the discipline—from planning and visualization to modeling and conceptualization—which has led to her becoming one of the youngest design leaders in the company. Her influence has been crucial in the design creation process of RSP, contributing to the company’s success in delivering high-end, innovative designs across multiple sectors.

Since joining, Raneem has made remarkable contributions to the design process of RSP’s most well known projects. Her portfolio includes the Nobu Hotel & Branded Residences, she was also part of the design competition that earned RSP the role of design architect for the Armani Hotel & Residences in Diriyah. Raneem was also an important part of the design process for flagship Huawei stores and the master planning of a stunning 550-hectare man-made island, complete with waterfront resorts, residential communities, and a world-class marina. Her versatility in both large-scale developments and refined luxury projects speaks volumes about her breadth of expertise. Raneem’s diverse expertise truly exemplifies her impact on RSP’s innovative design landscape.

A prime example of her ingenuity is her recent design for an ultra-exclusive luxury resort on a private island in Abu Dhabi, where she draws inspiration from historical castles and citadels. Throughout his career, Rosen has continually refined his technical skills, blending creative vision with practical solutions to meet both client demands and project requirements.

His strong visual thinking and excellent conceptualization skills have landed him on high-profile ventures for clients such as Apple, NEOM, and Elon Musk. His work with these global leaders has allowed him to push the boundaries of design, ensuring innovative solutions that align with each client’s unique vision. Rosen has consistently delivered designs that not only meet the highest standards of quality but also set new benchmarks in the industry. Luca Maccarinelli

Luca Maccarinelli is a Senior Associate at RSP, bringing over 12 years of international experience in architecture. Since leaving Italy, he has worked in Hong Kong, Berlin, Singapore, and Dubai, contributing to innovative design firms known for their creative vision and progressive architectural approaches. His expertise spans across multiple sectors, including residential, mixed-use, hospitality, commercial, and retail developments, all reflecting his commitment to design excellence, sustainability, and forward-thinking solutions.

Luca’s education in Milan ignited his passion for eco-friendly and parametric architecture, a focus he has continued to develop throughout his career. He collaborated with Harvard and Dassault Systems on urban design research, which was featured in AD Mass-Customised Cities and showcased at the HK/SZ Biennale 2013. His work explores the intersection of technology, sustainability, and human-centric design, pushing boundaries to create innovative and efficient urban environments.

With a strong track record of leading high-profile projects, Luca has been instrumental in delivering award-winning designs recognized by esteemed organizations such as the World Architecture Festival (WAF), WAN, INDE, and the ICONIC Awards. His ability to integrate innovative design principles with real-world functionality has made him a sought-after expert in the field.

Huynh Quoc Nhat

Nhat is especially proficient in BIM, boasting an in-depth knowledge of BIM processes and technologies, which include creating and managing digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of places. Lee Mun Cheng

Lee Mun Cheng started his career at RSP in its Kuala Lumpur office in 1992, before transferring to Vietnam in 2009, where he has remained since, while at times working at the Singapore and Dubai office.

He is exceptionally well-versed in space planning, coordination with other disciplines, architectural detailing, specifications, code requirements, preparation of drawings for various stages of works for authority submission, tender and construction drawings.

Throughout his time as a Technical Manager at RSP, he boasts a wide portfolio of projects, ranging from housing developments, high-rise residential and commercial, shopping malls, retail outlets and hotel cum serviced apartments. In his work, he treats every new challenge as a new opportunity to improve technical standards for future projects. Apart from technical excellence, he highly values respecting local cultures in the little details, such as ensuring the number of steps at the main entrance promised good ‘Fengshui’, referring to the harmonisation of energy forces in the environment.

Thomas Soo is a UK chartered architect with over 18 years of international experience across Europe, China and the Middle East. With a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Anna University and extensive experience in BIM delivery and digital transformation, he plays a key role in advancing RSP’s technology capabilities and driving innovation across complex projects.

He began his career as a REVIT Trainer at CADD LABS, where he developed a strong foundation in BIM processes, digital workflows, and multidisciplinary coordination. This experience laid the groundwork for his expertise in managing and implementing BIM across large-scale developments.

At RSP, Farhan oversees BIM implementation and digital technology initiatives across a diverse portfolio of residential, hospitality, commercial, and mixed-use projects. He works closely with project teams, consultants, contractors, and local authorities to ensure regulatory compliance, enhance project coordination, and improve delivery efficiency through the effective use of digital tools.
