OUR STORY

Headquartered in Singapore, RSP is a global multidisciplinary architectural and engineering design group, with over 65 years of experience, building alongside Singapore.

At RSP, delivering humanity-centered design is our philosophy. We put forth design that inspires and engages with the society and environment. We embrace spaces for humanity, translate stories into real spaces, and create purposeful designs for a better world.

1956Raglan Squire & Partners (RSP) established
in Singapore by British architect Raglan
Squire.
1960
1960
1960 Established its office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
1972
1972
1972Completed Straits Trading building in Singapore, the only high-rise building in the prime Raffles Place business district then.
1979
1979
1979Established Squire Mech to provide mechanical and electrical engineering services.
1980
1980
1980Raglan Squire & Partners renamed RSP Architects Planners & Engineers.
1987
1987
1987Completed East Shore Hospital in Singapore, one of the first hospitals in Asia to achieve the ISO 9002 international quality certification.
1989

1989Completed the iconic Singapore Indoor
Stadium, one of the tallest single-story
building in Singapore.
1993

1993Awarded its first project in the state of Karnataka where it took a stake in a Singapore consortium, as part owner and developer, to create International Tech Park Bangalore, the city’s first IT park.
1994

1994Won its first project in China, the Fuzhou Airport Passenger Terminal in conjunction with other Singapore organisations.

1997Completion of Republic Plaza, one of Singapore’s tallest buildings and the first Asian building outside Japan to win the International Real Estate Federation's Best of Real Estate Competition (FIABCI) "Best of the World" award.

1999Conferred "Outstanding Architectural Firm Award" by Singapore Society of Project Managers.

2004Established its office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

2006Completed Merck Bulk Pharmaceutical, the first active pharmaceutical ingredient facility in Singapore where the pharmaceutical industry is a key pillar for the economy.

2008Won the President Design Award for the design of LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore.

2009Completed Prestige Shantiniketan, one of the largest mixed-use development in Whitefield, Bangalore, India.

2012Completed Marina Bay Cruise Centre, one of the major developments in the reclaimed Marina South area as part of Singapore’s Downtown Master Plan.

2019Completed the iconic architectural and engineering marvel, Jewel Changi Airport in Singapore.

Our multidisciplinary team of 1,200 industry experts across over 15 markets has successfully completed over 2,500 projects globally, to build spaces that prioritise people, community and environment, while finding innovative ways to bring their unique stories to life through design. From physical spaces to the digital realm and beyond, design permeates every aspect of our work. At RSP, design meets humanity.

DUBAI

RSP started our first project in Middle East in 1995. Today, with a team of more than 50 professionals based in Dubai, we continue to undertake ambitious projects spanning the entire spectrum of sectors in the Middle East and North African region. This includes the prestigious Khalifa University of Science, Technology & Research in Abu Dhabi, the iconic Nakheel Mall & St. Regis Palm Tower and world-class healthcare institution, Al Zahra Hospital in Dubai and Al Rajhi Bank Headquarters in Riyadh.
