RSP’s Head of BIM Joins Autodesk AI Trust Council

RSP’s Head of BIM, Sheik, has been appointed to the Autodesk AI Trust Council. This marks the next step in his ongoing collaboration with Autodesk, as he joins their Customer Advisory Board for Trust: Security, Privacy, Resilience, and Trusted AI.

Having previously represented both RSP and Singapore on the Advisory Board for Building Design, he now moves into a specialised circle of leaders focused on the ethics and security of emerging tech.

The council acts as a bridge between Autodesk’s development teams and the leaders using their tools every day. In this role, Sheik will help steer the industry toward a more secure, AI-integrated future by:

  • Helping to influence Autodesk security, privacy, trusted AI and future Trust technology investment
  • Learning and comparing best practices with other security, privacy, reliability, and risk experts
  • Understanding perspectives from other industries and getting an understanding of their workflows
  • Hearing and discussing priorities for the Autodesk Trust Organisation

Sheik’s involvement with Autodesk is in accordance with RSP’s continued commitment to bridge the gap between architectural practice and technological advancement, contributing back to the industry. Whether sharing RSP’s insights at the Revit headquarters in Boston or recently winning a hackathon alongside students from UWCSEA, he has always focused on how technology can practically improve the Built Environment sector.

“As the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry increasingly relies on cloud-based platforms and AI-driven workflows in Singapore, RSP participation in the Autodesk Trust Advisory Group plays a critical role in ensuring these technologies are secure, ethical, and resilient by design, meet the Singapore industry and particularlyour client data security needs,” shared Sheik.
