We are thrilled to share that Haven, our master planning project for Dubai’s first residential wellness community, has been shortlisted for the World Architecture Festival (WAF) 2025.
As the world’s largest live-judged architecture awards program, WAF celebrates excellence in design, planning, and the built environment. With this recognition, Haven takes its place on the international stage as a model for how communities can be shaped around wellness, sustainability, and thoughtful design.
About The Project
We designed Haven to provide a retreat from the intensity of urban life. Our belief was rooted in the philosophy that where we live shapes how we live. The master plan embraces holistic wellness, blending nature, community, and architecture at every scale.
At the entrance, a treehouse-inspired community centre welcomes residents into an immersive wellness setting. The layout flows like a desert lagoon, with organic forms, winding pathways, and calming water features that encourage both movement and stillness.
At the core of the community lies the Wellness Oasis, made up of four experiential zones:
- Meditation Zone for mindfulness and reflection.
- Relaxation Zone with spa pavilions and oasis pools.
- Wellness Zone offering sports and fitness amenities.
- Well-being Zone centred on family, play, and nature.
Each zone is carefully designed to support well-being in daily life.
Surrounding the oasis, residential areas are arranged to promote flow and connection:
- Villas with direct access to lush parks and water features.
- Townhouses forming a buffer between private and communal areas.
- Mid-rise buildings positioned for panoramic views.
Meanwhile, a lively village core offers dining, retail, and wellness services. Green buffers throughout the plan maintain a sense of privacy and calm.
Live Presentation at WAF Miami
This November, we’ll present Haven live at WAF 2025 in Miami, joining some of the world’s most visionary projects. The festival’s live format allows us to share our design story and values in real time, creating space for dialogue and connection.
We’re honoured to be shortlisted. This recognition reflects the passion, creativity, and collaboration that brought Haven to life.
