We are thrilled to announce that RSP clinched three awards across 11 categories at the seventh edition of Singapore Institute of Planners Planning Awards this year. RSP is one of four local organisations to sweep multiple honours.
The Awards Presentation Ceremony was held last Thursday, 16 September, at the URA Centre.
The Conceptual Planning and Urban Design of Wenzhou Eastern New City was conferred Silver in the Excellence in Planning > 500HA & up to 5000HA category. Lauded for its robust industrial sector analysis and detailed programs, the project embeds smart city and sustainability elements for a thorough and well-structured masterplan.
The Spatial Development Strategic Planning (Conceptual) of Yuzhong Ecological Innovation City, awarded Bronze in the Excellence in Planning > 5000HA category, was recognised for its innovative planning strategies and commitment to eco-innovation through low carbon principles.
The Conceptual Planning of Zhuhai Xiangzhou District Green Connector Network received Special Mention in the Excellence in Urban Design, Placemaking & Public Space category. The planning design incorporates the surrounding natural topography to create a human-centric ‘green corridor’ made up of wide-ranging routes that integrate seamlessly with the local transit network.

The SIP Planning Awards, held bi-annually, recognise urban planners and consultancy firms in Singapore and beyond for their excellence and innovative approaches in urban planning.
