Law Yoke Foong

Head of Business/Executive Director, Architect
Singapore

Yoke Foong maintains that architecture is a craft as it is about designing for the soul. Beyond its physical form and appeal, a space should inspire and be guided by empathy for its users. She relates the experience to that of a family recipe that always has an interesting story behind.

With her appreciation of the interaction between people and the space as well as more than 20 years of experience, she brings practical advice and insights into every project she handles. These values are reflected through the projects she has led including the refurbishment of Alexandra Hospital, redevelopment of Clarke Quay into a retail and entertainment hub, Canberra MRT Station and multiple projects at one of the best airports in the world, Singapore’s Changi Airport.

She is enthusiastic about helping budding architects and is one of the resident judges for Asian Young Designer Awards, an annual competition organised by Nippon Paint.

A registered architect, a certified Universal Design Assessor, a Design for Safety Professional and a member of the Singapore Institute of Architects, Yoke Foong holds a Bachelor of Arts (Architecture Studies) and Master of Architecture from the National University of Singapore. As Head of Business/ Executive Director, she leads new business initiatives and operations for RSP Singapore.
